THE GROOVY SOUL – ITALY

Boogaloo is a state of mind! Really looking forward to the second live act of our weekender and to seeing this Italian combo live and loud! They will bring us a rich blend of sublime Hammond leads, cool Latin jazz sounds, Boogaloo & Funk. The soulful voice of Cristina, the passion of the talented Giulio Jazz and the style of other musicians will get you in the party mood immediately! They are preparing a very special set to make you move your feet right from the start! We like it like that!
PORTOBELLO EXPRESS – AUSTRIA

Second guest to jump on stage on Saturday will be the Portobello Express from Vienna. Name rings a bell? Yes, the band has its roots in the sound of the 1967 Swinging London. They are a pure 60s band headed since 2016 by Happy Betty, an extraordinary soulful singer & well know face in the Italian mod scene of the 90’s, and by Patrick Nagl, a R&B guitar legend, very well known by the All Saints punters for his Jaybirds years. The band’s sound direction is an amazing blend of Psychedelic Rock, Blues Rock a lá John Mayall and Sixties R&B. During the last three years Portobello Express played several shows in the Mod circuit around Austria, Germany and Italy and after their first single release “Take a Trip on the Beat ‘n’ Soul Train”, they released a new EP titled “2-3-4!”. They are definitely focused on their own music, but they do also the few cover songs which are part of the set and reflect their style and taste of music, not only to warm up a crowd but also because it’s always something they enjoy doing. For their Lavarone show, they will prepare a frantic wild hip shaking set with some surprises, to transform the venue in a sort of small, sweaty, hot ‘n’cosy club, the ideal setting for you to dance!
